AffinEco Leverages the Power of its Partnership with Pritchard Industries to Benefit Customers

Members of the AffinEco leadership team traveled to Miami recently for a meeting with Pritchard Industries, the building services provider into which AffinEco merged in 2022.  Beyond discussions about the latest technologies designed to improve building maintenance, or methods to achieve greater environmental sustainability, the get together enabled AffinEco’s senior managers to get to know their colleagues even better.

“It was an opportunity for our senior leaders to bond and to get a more intimate knowledge of some of the work Pritchard is doing, like their experience in airports, like FLL in Fort Lauderdale,” said AffinEco President Michael Diamond. “With Pritchard, we have more resources, more knowledge and more support throughout the country”

Sharing best practices – particularly around how Pritchard is operating in markets outside AffinEco’s footprint – was one of the key takeaways for AffinEco President Paul Senecal. “A year into this and it feels like we have been working with them forever. Pritchard was quick to develop relationships with all our staff, so everyone feels free to reach out and anytime to ask questions and get support,” he said.

Already, AffinEco and Pritchard have been consolidating back office functions to provide more resources to field-level staff. “In Boston, we have Pritchard staff servicing AffinEco-branded accounts, and vice versa,” said Senecal. “A year into this and our teams have bonded and work together as one.”

Diamond noted that Pritchard’s larger infrastructure has helped AffinEco discover new IT solutions to improve how they use cloud computing technology and access new safety training modules that more closely align with the needs of a building services company.

“Pritchard and now AffinEco have our own learning management system that includes management training to help improve how managers control costs and deliver better service for our clients,” he said.

AffinEco customers already benefit from the buying power of a collaborative to which AffinEco has belonged for several years. Through its partnership with Pritchard, AffinEco is able to take advantage of larger volume discounts that can help mitigate the rising costs of paper and other supplies.

“This is how we are maximizing the value we are providing to our combined client base,” Senecal said.
